Artists Honor Caspersen- A Benifit National Exhibit
Aimee Odette & Karen Ann Hitt at the VIP Private Receptions of the opening of "Artists Honor Caspersen- A Benefit National Exhibit" with her painting "Majesty- By Still Waters" Painted for the exhibit.
Karen Ann Hitt the founder of Venice Plein Air (founded 2003), teamed up with Aimee at the Collectors Gallery to present this Benefit Exhibit to honor Caspersens Beach, after it was decimated by back to back hurricanes, and now all roads remain closed to it, since the Hurricanes. Artists from around the country have painted at this beautiful location for Decades. The Exhibit is designed to not only honor the beautiful history of this iconic landmark of Venice FL, that has been forever changed, but to also benefit this hard hit community and one of its most active not for profits VABI- Venice Area Beautification Inc. The Paintings range in dates from 2003-2025... a real picturesque view of the history is on display through the 27th.
36 Artist and upwards of 70 Painting were juried into the exhibit. It is an opportunity to not only collect a piece of history, but to also support this hard hit community in the process.
Karen Ann Hitt also donated An Original Hitt Plein Air Painting 'Venice Area Beautification Inc's Touch' to be awarded in a exclusive drawing taken from all of the names of patrons that purchase a painting during the exhibit. The winner will be drawn 2/27/2025 at the Art Walk. Also on that night, announcing the winners of the Peoples Choice Awards ( 3 Categories) That the community may vote on, during the exhibit. It is a Monetary vote, with funds being split between VABI and the Winning Artists. Making for MULTIPLE ways to donate and collect. You are also entered into another drawing with each of your votes. This is a picture taken on location of the Painting. It is now beautifully framed by Collectors Gallery and You Could Win it with your collecting of an original work of Art from the

Artist have been preserving the beauty of Caspersen for years, one painting at a time! Venice Plein Air Partnering with Collectors Gallery & Framery are hosting a benefit National Exhibit to Honor Caspersen while benefiting the community! Caspersen, Hit by back to back hurricanes, its been decimated. All roads remain closed to it. Venice Plein Air founded in 2003 began painting there monthly along with many other groups and artists over the years. ANY Painting from 2003 to 15 January 2025 of Caspersen may be entered to be a part of Artists Honor Caspersen.

1st Monday- Caspersen Beach (along boardwalk and shoreline)UPDATE for our 1st Monday location; Caspersen Beach was decimated by Hurricane Milton- until we are able to return to painting there, we will meet just up the shore from it at "Service Club Park" 1190 Harbor Dr. S. Venice, FL 34285
3rd Saturday- Historic Downtown Venice & Farmers Market (meet at Gazebo), with our special annual MAP 3rd Saturday of January recording its growth each year en Plein Air, Jan 20, 2024 MAP VENICE URBAN FOREST. Service Club Park, both boardwalk and wonderful beach areas just off the boardwalk too. Caspersen's we paint all along the boardwalk, and usually meet down towards the end of the beach along the surf.
Historic Downtown Venice we meet at or around the Gazebo and spread out from there. You may paint all over dowtown wherever you wish, including the Farmers Market. We say 'hi' at the Gazebo to start, and if you seek to join critique, it will be close to there too.
