Collectors Gallery & Framery in partnership with Venice Plein Air presents
Artists Honor Caspersen, A Benefit National Exhibit to Honor and Support a Hard-Hit Area of Recent Hurricanes: Helene & Milton.
Caspersen Beach has been impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, with all roads closed to the area. Artists for decades have been gathering together at Caspersen to paint this unique natural shoreline. Venice Plein Air MAP met there the first Monday each month for years. Until we can all MAP (Meet And Paint) there again, Artists Honor Caspersen - A Benefit National Exhibit seeks to preserve its known beauty with paintings from across the Nation by Artists that have visited and painted at the location. Collectors will be able to collect a piece of history, while benefiting the hard-hit community.
All Painting subject matter is
to be of Caspersen Beach, Venice, Florida. This may include landscape,
shore birds, skyscapes, figures, etc., however the Artist feels best
honors the location. Venice Plein Air founded in 2003, therefore paintings may be from 2003 to 15 January 2025! Lets share the beauty and history of Artists painting at Caspersen!
This exhibit honoring Caspersen will benefit VABI (Venice Area Beautification Inc). Their name says it all! VABI supportseverything from our Historic Downtown Venice, the Venice Urban Forest, Venice area murals, AND The Venetian Waterway Trail. They really do keep Venice beautiful! All of this is accomplished by the community of volunteers and community donations. Let us support the community, area business and of course the Artist!
Artists and Visitors of the Exhibit will be able to be a part too, by participating in the three People's Choice Awards. Monetary Votes will be collected from February 18th- February 27th, 7PM with winners being announced at 8pm at the Venice Art Walk Night.

Questions
For questions about this prospectus, contact Karen at Venicepleinair@gmail.comCaspersens Post Hurricane... there are many video's and images being shared of the destruction. This video is just a first came to, so that those of you that haven't seen it yet for yourself, may. Note the image above of all of the Artists gathered together above, before the hurricanes. The boardwalk is no longer there, along with the foliage.
